10 Tips To Keep Your Brand Fresh

The last thing anyone wants is a stale brand. To avoid this you need to keep your Brand fresh and exciting for your customers, so you don’t become old news. If you have ever been the proud owner of a new car or even sat in a new car for that matter, you know what I am talking about.

There’s this feeling of excitement and pride about your new car and the same can be said for a brand refresh. So now here you are with a brand refresh, and now what?

As you grow your business make sure that your brand grows with you. Running off and leaving your brand in the dust will cause a huge disconnect for your customers. Your brand should be like your shadow.

Stay Relevant

All markets have trends and it is important that you stay vigilant of this! Do your research on the latest events and keep up. Don’t be the guy that just now has an offer or idea that the competition had 6 months ago.

Don’t Go Into Hibernation

You are not a bear, so stop acting like one! Everyone has their “off” moments but don’t go into hibernation! Having events, contests, seminars, and more will keep you front and center. Don’t give them the opportunity to forget about you.

Ask Questions

Tell me what you want, what you really, really, want. Are you thinking for your customers? That’s a big NO, NO! Get out there and talk to your customers and get their honest opinions. Utilize research groups and social media to your advantage.

Keep an Open Mind

Just because that one thing worked for you last year, doesn’t mean it’s relevant this year. Have you ever seen something and thought…“Wow, I wish we would’ve thought of that!” or…”We could never do something like that!” If you never take any chances, how will you know? Give your customers a reason to take notice.

Be Confident

Promote your brand and stand behind it with confidence. You are unique and have a lot to offer your customers. Don’t be shy about getting out there.

Stay Focused

Remember why you are here and what you are here to do. Keep that message in the forefront and remember it! Be consistent and don’t confuse your customers by saying one thing and doing another.

Remember To Relax

Take some time away from the day to day to relax your mind. No kidding. An open and relaxed mind will be more receptive to new ideas! Try some team building activities.

Evaluation

How do you feel about brand? Really be honest with yourself. Has your company changed and is your brand reflecting that? Just like people, brands have personalities. Be sure that your companies personality matches your branding. You don’t want to send mixed messages.

Go Online

Search for your company online and search for it often. If there is inaccurate information out there you want to find it before your customers do. Look at the competition and think about what makes you different. What online tools can you use to set your brand apart?
