Welcome to another episode of the WordPress minute! In this episode I’m going to talk about categories and tags, as well as give some advice on how to use them, where they’re found, and how to add them. So let’s begin with a blog post that I put together in a previous tutorial video. We’re going add it this post and then when you go into the editor on the back you’ll see categories. You’ll see another meta box below it for tags. These are ways to organize content on your blog, so you want to make sure that if you have a particular topic that you blog about that as your category. You want to make sure that you don’t have a blog post and too many multiple categories. That is because these two items are a way to organize content on your site and you want to make sure that it’s very clear for your users on how to find said content. DO NOT have branding set for a category and then branding set as a tag. That would be bad! You can check out this article on our website. I’ll be putting a link in the video description below and we hope you enjoy this! Share this and if you have any questions let us know in the comments! Thank you!
