Bill has been in marketing and technology for more than 20 years. Over his career, he has worked in many industries and worn many hats. From independent consultant, to cooking school, to establishing technology centers, it was a Spirit-led adventure that has landed him in the president’s seat at Element 502. Leading our motley group is always exciting. Each day brings new challenges, victories and learning moments. We aren’t perfect, but you always get our best. Bill’s heart is to watch people shine as their true potential is unlocked. Being at Element 502 allows our team to have many opportunities to find their sweet spot. This blend of fun and dependability is what makes him tick. To clients, this translates into being able to hear issues and needs clearly. Then, working with the team, the best solutions are delivered. When the win comes, we all celebrate.

Storytelling is the art of communicating with another person’s heart and making a lifelong impact.

When not in the office, Bill enjoys teaching people the art of storytelling, especially Biblical storytelling. A good storyteller can engage someone’s heart and make them care. To do this takes skill, planning and practice. Teaching people how to story well makes heart sing.

This same skill translates into our marketing. Anyone can get a person to hear their message, but will they truly listen? If we get someone to pay attention to our message, that’s only the beginning. The real measurement of success is the lasting impact. If we cannot make a real connection, then we are only doing a behavior adjustment. The problem is that behavior will only last until a stronger-sounding message comes along. Our team works together to make an impact with the heart that can stand the storm of competing messages.

In our business, we want to get to a behavior change. What if there was a way to bypass some of those filters? What if you can draw someone into your story?

At home, Bill and his wife of more than 20 years have two awesome kids. They love joking with each other, going on adventures and reading together. He values his family deeply and is grateful for the gift they are to him.

The backbone to all this is his faith in Jesus and the price He paid. It is the example and work of God in his life that are the instruction in how he leads, interacts, and values.
