Challenge
Schiller Hardware needed a new website that could meet their needs to update content and create brand awareness for their local business with a national audience. The current site was 10 years old, and built on extremely outdated technology.
Schiller Hardware Design
At project start, we did an analysis of Schiller’s needs. Then, working with them, our designers developed page mockups that were compliant and used UX Design. After approval we began publishing.
The goal was a “clean and modern” website; we chose an approach that balanced its bold colors with a simple, readable design. Further, we tried to give the primary user’s paths equal weight on the homepage while keeping the main navigation uncluttered; ultimately we landed somewhere in between.
Results
The new design now effectively serves Schiller Hardware. Using our custom WordPress theme, it gives them the ability to control the presentation of content on their website from one central login. Schiller Hardware is also secured on WordPress managed hosting solution with Sucuri online protection from attack.
