NOVU Health wanted to reach every health professional attending a convention in Arizona. Traditional marketing avenues were cost prohibitive for NOVU Health. Therefore timing was extremely limited to produce marketing collateral in time. Studies suggest that when a user isn’t surfing the web on they are on their phone. Furthermore they are likely to spend 86% of smartphone time using apps.
NOVU Health Campaign Tactics
This was a perfect scenario for Geofencing. Everyone at the convention would be using a mobile devices. In addition they would continue to use those devices after the end of the conference.Therefore using geofencing targeting we were able to capture those devices. Thus sending web ads to them during the show. Using retargeting we continued to send ads to those devices. We did this another month after the convention. This kept their message at the top of mind for weeks.
